Gruman Worldwide Limited had its beginnings in 1922 as a company involved in international trade between the United States and Russia.
Harry Gruman, the company’s founder, joined by William Gruman, an attorney, continued these trade activities and expanded the business to include shipping and commodities trading, originally in the Caribbean and South America.
In 1978, William Gruman pioneered a department specializing in foreign recoveries as an outgrowth of his law practice, making use of the extensive overseas network of commercial and banking contacts, attorneys and government officials, that had already been developed.
The business has grown to where, Gruman Worldwide Limited administers the largest caseload of international recoveries and collection services in the world. From the corporate office in Tampa, Florida, U.S.A., immediate service is available in virtually every country in the world.
